Friends and community members are collecting donations for the family of the Lower Merion teacher who died in a car accident last Tuesday, April 2.
Tim Mohan, 53, was a social studies teacher at Bala Cynwyd Middle School for 30 years and also served as the school's Athletics and Activities Director, school district officials have said.

Tim Mohan, a longtime teacher at Bala Cynwyd Middle School, died in a car accident on Tuesday, April 2, according to the Lower Merion School District.
Mohan, who also served as the school's Athletics and Activities Director, was a husband and father who taught social studies at Bala Cynwyd for 30 years, administrators said in a statement.
