A woman had to be rescued and taken to a nearby trauma center after falling during a hike on the Delaware Water Gap Thursday morning, authorities said. The Knowlton Township Fire and Rescue Company was one of several crews that responded to the report of a fallen hiker about four miles north on the Appalachian Trail from the Dunnfield Creek Parking Area on Route 80, the squad said. Worker Airlifted After Being Run Over By UTV At Blairstown Airport
A worker was airlifted to a nearby hospital after being run over by a UTV at the Blairstown Airport, authorities said. The accident occurred around 2:15 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 21, Blairstown Police Chief Scott Johnsen told DailyVoice.com. The victim, a landscaper working on repaving the runway, was run over on his chest area by one of the tires of a Bobcat UTV equipped with a front-end loader. Pilot, 70, Killed As Glider Plane Crashes In North Jersey
The 70-year-old pilot of a glider plane was killed as the aircraft flipped and crashed into a field in North Jersey, authorities confirmed. Officers responding to the crash report near the Blairstown Airport saw the glider plane upside down in a grassy area near the airport just before 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, the Blairstown Township Police Department said in a Monday release. The body of a well-known 23-year-old man missing for months was found by hunters in a wooded area in Sussex County, authorities confirmed Tuesday. North Warren High School graduate Daniel Cannone — who went missing last October — was found dead in Frankford early Sunday, Blairstown Police said. 19: Popular Warren County Music Venue To Remove Entry Restrictions
A popular music venue in Warren County will soon remove its COVID-19 mask and vaccine entry restrictions. Roy’s Hall on Main Street in Blairstown made the announcement on its Facebook page early Wednesday, stating that it was “among the first venues” statewide to enforce proof of vaccination or negative COVID test and wear masks while indoors. A 23-year-old Warren County man has now been missing since mid-October, according to police who say they have found no new leads. Daniel Cannone, of Blairstown, was last seen on a RING camera on Oct. 16, DailyVoice.com reported. Cannone was wearing a t-shirt and shorts and was carrying a backpack, police said.
