A 14-year-old in Coaldale Borough is accused of making a violent threat in an online chat, authorities say. "I'm going to shoot up my school," the teen allegedly wrote to other players in a gaming session. Borough police said they were notified of the threat by state police and the FBI on Tuesday, Jan. 9 around 3:30 p.m. Authorities said they tracked the IP address associated with the user account to a house in Coaldale and spoke with the homeowner. 14-Year-Old Charged In Berks County Drive-By Shooting
A 14-year-old suspect has been charged in connection with the drive-by shooting of two other minors on a Berks County road late Saturday night. The two victims, aged 15 and 17, were walking along the 1200 block of Reading Avenue in Douglass Township when a car pulled up and shot them both, Daily Voice has reported. Responding officers found one victim with a gunshot wound to the gut and another with injuries to the knee and shoulder, per the release. A 14-year-old was stopped driving a stolen vehicle from Ohio along Interstate 80 east in western Pennsylvania, on Saturday, Nov. 5, according to state troopers. During the stop, they observed a gun which soon had state troopers saying: "The totality of the circumstances suggested the likelihood the juvenile may have used the gun to kill the registered owner, and then stole his vehicle." Teen Driver's Passenger Wanted After Pursuit Through Central PA: Police
A 14-year-old stole a Jeep and now state police are looking for his passenger. Pennsylvania state police were led on a pursuit in the area of South College Street and West Park Avenue in Myerstown Borough, Lebanon County, spotting a stolen Jeep from South Lebanon Township, on Jan. 24 shortly before 4 p.m., according to a release by police.
