Sinkhole Opens Up In Palmer Township, Officials Say

Crews are at the scene of a sinkhole in Palmer Township on Wednesday morning, March 27, PennDOT says.

The sinkhole opened up on Tuesday, March 26 in the same spot where one was repaired on the Main Street shoulder last week, a spokesperson said. The current sinkhole is in the eastbound lanes. 

"Action has been taken to mobilize equipment, prepare blacktop, and get flowable fill," said PennDOT's Ron Young. 

"Some equipment is already on site and repairs are underway this morning."
