The 17-year-old — whose name was not released — was identified as the source of the threat that came into Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts, requiring a full evacuation around 8:20 a.m., Bethlehem Police said.
The threat was ultimately determined not to be credible, and students and staff have returned to the building on E. 3rd St. in Bethlehem to resume classes.
The teen has been charged with terroristic threats and false reports to law enforcement and referred to the Northampton County Juvenile Probation Department.
The Northampton County Sheriff's Office also assisted.
