Born in Bethlehem, Albani graduated from Easton High School in 2006, his obituary says.

Albani was known for his upbeat personality and love of movies, video games and sports.

He was also a coach for Easton Lil Rovers Football, who shared their condolences in a touching Facebook tribute:

Albani leaves behind a nine-month-old son, Giovanni Michael, his memorial says.

More than $10,600 had been raised on a GoFundMe as of Friday for the surviving family’s ongoing expenses.

“Josh left us all with many fond memories of his infectious personality, laugh, and just downright positive outlook no matter the circumstances,” reads the fundraiser, launched by Joe Graziano.

“He will be sorely missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him, and missed most of all by his closest loved ones.”

In addition to his son, Albani is survived by his girlfriend, Carissa Updyke, his mother, Lisa M. (Titus) Ketcherick and husband Michael; his father, James A. Albani and wife Lauralyn, his sister Ashley Albani; brothers, Brendan Ketcherick, and Jacob Youngkin; his maternal grandfather, Raymond R. Titus; and his paternal grandmother, Barbara J. Albani.

Albani’s funeral was held Monday at Morello Funeral Home on Nicholas Street in Easton.

“While the loss of a loved one and close family member is hard, it's likely nearly as hard to think about how to move forward as a family,” the fundraiser says.

“A small token of support from each of you may go a long way in helping and also in showing Carissa and Giovanni how loved Josh is by all of the people he impacted in his life. Rest In Peace Josh.”
