It happened in Forks on Thursday, June 15, township police wrote in a statement. Officers were called to the 2600 block of Lower Way for reports of a "physical altercation inside a vehicle," the department said.
Responding officers ordered a passenger, 18-year-old Makayla E. Blue, to exit the vehicle. Police claim Blue refused, and said she "began to strike and scratch officers" as they "removed her from the passenger side of the vehicle."
The department said the officers "sustained injuries" during the arrest.
Blue was charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, reckless endangerment, resisting arrest, and related counts, Forks police added.
