Berks County Expert In Bog Turtles Caught With Child Pornography: DA
A 51-year-old man from Berks County has been charged with sexual abuse for possessing child pornography, authorities said. Michael E. Torocco, of Wyomissing, surrendered to detectives on Wednesday, Aug. 21, according to Berks County District Attorney John T. Adams. A search warrant found more than 200 images of child pornography in Torocco's DropBox account, Adams said. Power Outages Reported Across Pennsylvania After Overnight Storms
Thousands of Pennsylvanians are still without power after severe thunderstorms downed trees across the region on Tuesday, July 16. Berks Pair Charged In Route 222 Road Rage Shooting
Two men were arrested this week for the apparent road rage shooting on Route 222, said Wyomissing police in a release. Luis Alejandro Rosado Colon, 24, and Alejandro Perez Rodriguez, 23, were taken into custody on Tuesday, July 9, according to authorities. A car was shot at around 1 p.m. on July 1 near the Berkshire Mall, police said previously. No injuries were reported. Road Rage Shooting On Rt 222, Berks County Authorities Say
A gunman who shot at another driver near the Berkshire Mall on Monday, July 1 is being sought by police. The road rage incident unfolded on Route 222 in Wyomissing around 12:45 p.m., authorities announced the following day. A driver in a black Honda sedan fired at another vehicle, striking it twice, according to investigators. No one was injured in the shooting.
