Second Tractor-Trailer Crash On PA Turnpike Interchange To Rt 283: PennDOT Yet another tractor-trailer rolled over on the interchange of Route 283 with the PA Turnpike on Thursday, Aug. 22, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The second tractor-trailer overturned on the ramp from Rt 283 West to the PA Turnpike/Interstate 76 South near the exit to the Harrisburg International Airport in Lower Swatara Township. This crash happened at 1:12 p.m.  The first crash happened almost 12 hours before it but was still being cleaned up as that rollover caused dog food the tractor-trailer was hauling to spill out on the ramp. 1 Hospitalized After Two Tractor-Trailers Collided On I-81 In Lebanon: PennDOT (Photos) Two tractor-trailers collided on Interstate 81 sending one person to the hospital, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler told Daily Voice.  The crash happened on I-81 South at mile marker 93 in Swatara Township shortly after 4 a.m. on Thursday, August 1, as detailed by Schreffler.  There was "heavy entrapment" and one of the tractor-trailers rolled over, Schreffler explained. Dump Truck Crashes Into Amish Family's Bird-In-Hand Home An Amish family's home was struck by a dump truck on Thursday morning, according to Lancaster County Wide Communications.  The truck's cab's front right tire appears to have blown out based on photos shared by Daniel Stoltzfus who also witnessed the crash.  He wrote the following in part in a social media post: "I heard something and looked up. The truck went between the tree and the house." The incident happened near the intersection of Snakehill and Stormstown roads in Upper Leacock Township at the border between Leola and Bird-In-Hand around 7:34 a.m. on June 6. …
