Human Remains Found In Fairview Township Woods: Police
Human remains were discovered in a wooded area of Fairview Township, sparking an investigation by local authorities, police announced on Tuesday, Dec. 10. The remains were located in the 300 block of Pleasant View Road in New Cumberland at approximately 10:39 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9, according to Fairview Township police. Human Remains Found Near Delaware River In Philly: Police
Bones belonging to an unidentified adult were found near the Delaware River in Philadelphia on Sunday, Nov. 3, police said. A witness stated that she was at Penn Treaty Park when she found two bones that appeared to be human shin bones at 5:02 p.m., according to the Philadelphia Police Department. The bones were located in a grassy, rocky area along the park’s waterline, police said. The Medical Examiner’s Office collected the bones for further investigation. Skeletal Remains Found In Montco Identified: Coroner
The human skull and other skeletal remains found in a Towamencin retention basin on March 18 have been identified, according to the Montgomery County Coroner's Office. They belonged to 34-year-old Isaias Hernandez-Geronimo, said Coroner Janine Darby at a press conference on Tuesday, July 30. The remains were discovered by a surveyor in a wooded area near the retention basin on Welsh Road, officials said previously.
