Woman Killed In Northeast Philly Double Shooting, Authorities Say
A woman was killed and a man was injured when gunfire rang out in Tacony on Friday, July 19, Philadelphia police said in a release. The victims were shot on the 6700 block of Marsden Street around 11:20 a.m., authorities said. The woman was shot multiple times in her arm and back before succumbing to her injuries at Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital, according to police. Her name and age were not reported. Two men were stabbed in the back on Sunday night, Lancaster City Police announced on Monday, July 15. Marvin Henson has been charged with aggravated assault and Emelidihbette Murphy has been charged with harassment following the second stabbing police explained, although court documents were unavailable as of Monday at 1 p.m. The two men were fighting each other in the 100 block of N. Crews Respond To Early Morning Fire In Easton
Firefighters were at the scene of a three-alarm blaze in Easton on Friday, July 5. Forks Township fire officials said they were called to Lehigh and South 11th streets around 2 a.m. Dewey Fire Company said they assisted with suppression, search, overhaul, and cleanup and were at the site until 5 a.m. WFMZ reports the blaze spread to multiple apartments and said that one person was taken to the hospital. Bethlehem Shooting Sends Victim To Hospital In Critical Condition: Police
City police are investigating a shooting in Bethlehem early Sunday morning, June 23. Authorities said they were called to the 1300 block of Fritz Drive just after 4 a.m. Officers arrived to find an adult man with a gunshot wound to the body and he was taken to an area hospital in critical condition, BPD said. His condition has since stabilized. No arrests had been made as of Monday, June 24. A 28-year-old was badly injured Monday morning, June 24 when his motorcycle crashed in South Whitehall, according to police. State troopers said it happened around 12:45 a.m. on Route 22. Authorities have released details in a dump truck crash on Route 31 in Clinton Township that left one person dead on Tuesday, June 18. Pennsylvania State Troopers Injured In Fatal Philly Crash: Officials
One person has died after a crash involving a state police car early Friday morning, June 14. Troopers were driving south on Christopher Columbus Boulevard responding to a separate incident around 1:30 a.m., authorities said. At the intersection with Race Street, a northbound Mazda pickup truck "made an illegal left turn" into the path of the state police car, according to officials.
