Man With Drug Warrant Flees Police In Lycoming County A 40-year-old man was arrested for fleeing police in Lycoming County, authorities said. Michael Charles Devan had been stopped on Aug. 20 by Williamsport police near West Fourth and Campbell streets. During a traffic stop, Devan learned that he had an active felony drug warrant, police said. Devan accelerated away and fled from police for over a mile through residential areas of the city, exceeding speeds of 60 mph, police said. Driver Nearly Crashed Into Police Car Before Montco Pursuit: Authorities A car chase in Lower Moreland ended in one man's arrest, according to township police.  Officers were traveling on Philmont Avenue early on June 10 when they spotted an oncoming driver pass a car on its left side, veering into the center median and opposite lane, police said.  The officers had to swerve to the curb to avoid colliding with the driver, authorities said.  They activated their lights and the driver fled before eventually being taken into custody, township police said.
