Tolls Increase On These 4 Bridges Between NJ, PA For First Time Since 2011 Tolls are going up on four Delaware River Port Authority bridges between New Jersey and Pennsylvania on Sunday, Sept. 1 for the first time since 2011. The increase on the Ben Franklin, Betsy Ross, Commodore Barry, and Walt Whitman bridges went into effect at midnight.  For passenger vehicles, motorcycles, and small trucks, tolls increased from $5 to $6. For recreational vehicles and mobile homes, tolls go up from $.7.50 to $9 per axle. James Pearcy pleaded guilty before Senior United States District Judge Kim R. Gibson on Aug. 20, U.S. Attorney Eric G. Olshan said. From January 2021 to around June 2021, in the Western District of Pennsylvania, Pearcy conspired with others to deal cocaine, Olshan said. Pedestrian ID'd After Fatal Hit-Run Strike Near Dutch Wonderland: Coroner The pedestrian who was fatally struck by a vehicle outside a hotel near multiple amusement parks has been identified by the Lancaster County Coroner on Friday, Aug. 30.  John Zimmerman, 72, original of Lititz but recently of Lancaster, died at the scene of the strike at 2270 Lincoln Highway East at Fairfield Inn, according to the coroner.
