The family of a Bethlehem motorcyclist and Camden, New Jersey native killed in an Upper Saucon Township crash is grieving the loss of a dad, son, brother, and friend. Jorge Pickett, 34, died after striking another vehicle at West Saucon Valley Circle and Center Valley Parkway on Friday, Oct. 4, according to authorities. Condolences are pouring in for the 34-year-old motorcyclist killed in a Lehigh County crash Friday, Oct. 4. Jorge Pickett, of Bethlehem, is survived by two children, whose photos he shared often on social media. A 30-year-old man was shot dead in Bethlehem, authorities told Daily Voice on Saturday, Sept. 28. Altaron Amir Robinson, of Allentown, was shot in the 1900 block of Butztown Road, Bethlehem at 9:29 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, the Lehigh County Coroner detailed. The shooting was near Governor Wolf Elementary School which closed Friday while police investigated the shooting. East Allen Dad Killed In Crash Into Tree: Lehigh Coroner
A father of two died following a crash into a tree on Wednesday night, July 17, Lehigh County Coroner Daniel A. Buglio announced the following morning. Johny M. Roustic, 51, of East Allen Township, crashed on Pembroke Road near East Washington Avenue in Bethlehem around 8 p.m., city police detailed in a separate release. Officials are looking for the loved ones of a New Jersey woman who died on Friday, July 12. Shirley J. Smith, 77, of Belvidere, broke her right femur in a fall and died from complications at St. Luke's University Hospital in Bethlehem, said the Lehigh County Coroner's Office.
