Man Arrested With 'Weapon Of Mass Destruction' Was Wanted In Northampton County
A 42-year-old man from Northampton County was arrested on a warrant related to his possessing an explosive device, authorities said. Thomas Stocker Jr. was arrested on Friday, Aug. 30 in Monroe County, according to Slate Belt Regional Police. One of his charges is possessing or manufacturing weapons of mass destruction, police said. On April 25, at approximately 10 p.m., a Slate Belt Regional Police Officer on patrol observed a male walking on the shoulder in the 800 block of Bangor Road. The funeral details for a 34-year-old father of two young children who was killed in a crash have been released. Ryan Peck, 34, of Forks Township, died from blunt force injuries following a crash near the 5600 Block of Kesslersville Road in Plainfield Township on Aug. 15, as Daily Voice previously reported.
