Nassim Younes, 86, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 25, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, from traumatic brain injuries sustained in a crash on Friday, Jan. 4, 2002. He was crossing the 300 block of W. Tilghman Street when he was hit by a school bus, according to the coroner. The motor scooter was northbound on the sidewalk of North 2nd Street near Nedro Avenue when it struck a traffic control device, then a Dodge Journey that was parked along the street, and finally a school bus, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
