Tornado Watch Shifts, Now Covers These Counties Across NJ, PA As Debby Creeps In
The National Weather Service has shifted its tornado watch across New Jersey and Pennsylvania as Hurricane Debby creeps in.
In New Jersey, the tornado watch is in effect through 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9 and covers Bergen, Essex, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset, Sussex, Union and Warren counties in North Jersey.
In Pennsylvania, the tornado watch is issued in Lehigh, Northampton, Carbon, Monroe, and Bucks counties.
The tornado threat for South Jersey has diminished since the initial watch was issued early Friday morning, which has since been canceled.

A worker at a Burger King in Chester County has been arrested for sexually assaulting a younger co-worker while "grooming" another for abuse, authorities announced on Thursday, Aug. 8.
Anthony Burns, 37, of Spring City, had unlawful sexual contact with two minors under the age of 16, according to the Chester County District Attorney's Office.
Burns has been charged with Statutory Sexual Assault, Aggravated Indecent Assault, Unlawful Contact with Minors, and other related charges, the DA said.

PA Catalytic Converter Theft Ring Shut Down, DA Says
An organized catalytic converter theft ring operating in multiple Pennsylvania counties has been busted up with the arrest of five men, authorities said.
The ring operated in Montgomery, Delaware, Bucks, Chester and Philadelphia counties, according to Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin R. Steele and Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer.

Replica Gun Used In Armed Robbery In Kennett Square: Police
A 52-year-old man has been arrested for robbing a business with a replica gun in Chester County, authorities announced on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
Salvador Lopez-Ortigoza, of Toughkenamon, was charged with robbery and making terroristic threats, among other charges, according to Southern Chester County Regional Police.
On Tuesday, July 30, at 11:15 a.m., police responded to a report of an armed robbery at Latino Mex, 1001 W. Baltimore Pike in Kennett Square.
