A parent's report sparked an investigation that led to a Pennsylvania man's arrest for sexual contact with multiple children, police announced Wednesday, Sept. 16.
Robert Eugene Styers, 60, identified by police as a Middletown resident, was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 15, following the investigation in Dauphin County.
The investigation began when a parent came forward with concerns, Lower Swatara Township Police said. Investigators subsequently alleged that Styers had sexual contact with multiple children, describing the case as a “disturbing pattern of behavior.”

A teenager charged with fatally stabbing a Pennsylvania man in the chest on a Columbia Borough street has waived his preliminary hearing, sending the case to county court, prosecutors announced Wednesday, Sept. 16.
The Columbia teen is charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault, and tampering with evidence in the July 8 killing of Anthony Stoy-Velazquez, 26, of Marietta, according to the Lancaster County District Attorney’s Office.
