Trooper Among 3 Seriously Hurt After Driver Fails To Yield On Route 283: PA State Police Three people, including a Pennsylvania State Police trooper, were seriously injured when a Volkswagen Passat crashed into a marked police cruiser on Route 283 in Londonderry Township, Dauphin County, police announced on Sunday, Jan. 26. The crash occurred around 5:30 a.m. near mile marker 5.9 on Route 283 East, according to a release by Pennsylvania State Police.
