Dice Roll Will Determine Random Batch Of Ballots In PA General Election Audit: Officials
A dice roll will be used to determine which batches of ballots Pennsylvania officials will audit from the general election on Monday, Nov. 18, according to the Department of State. Pennsylvania Department of State staff will roll 10-sided dice at 2:30 p.m. to generate a 20-digit "seed number" which will then be used to randomly determine which batches of ballots will be audited over the next few days, according to a news release from the department. Secretary of the Commonwealth Al Schmidt announced on Wednesday, Nov. 13, that Pennsylvania’s unofficial results in the Nov. 5 general election for the U.S. Senate have triggered a legally mandated recount. The current tally has incumbent Senator Bob Casey and challenger Dave McCormick within the one-half of 1 percent margin necessary for a statewide recount, per Pennsylvania law. Russians Made Bomb Threats To Multiple PA Polling Places: FBI (

Called-in and emailed bomb threats prompted evacuations at multiple polling places, the district's attorney's office confirmed on Tuesday, Nov. 5. The following morning the FBI informed they believe Russians were responsible. Threats were made at locations across Pennsylvania, according to a statement by Governor Josh Shapiro at a press conference on election night. None of the threats were credible, the Gov.
