While heading to a training in Berks County, volunteers with the Adamstown Fire Company volunteers were called to a single vehicle accident on Rt 222. The crash was in the northbound lanes between the Exit: I-76 Turnpike/ PA Route 272 - Denver/PA Turnpike and Exit: PA 272 South/PA 568 East - Adamstown/Knauers around 7:30 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA. Central PA Man Killed In Motorcycle Crash With Deer: Lehigh County Coroner A 64-year-old Germansville man was killed in a motorcycle crash with a deer in Lehigh County on Monday morning, Oct. 1, Pennsylvania State Police said. Frederick R. Brauchle III, of Heidelberg Township, was driving a 2004 Harley Davidson motorcycle in the area of 4842 Mountain Road in Washington Township when he crashed into a deer at 5 a.m., according to the Pennsylvania State Police and the Lehigh County Coroner Daniel Buglio. Flaming Jackknife Tractor-Trailer On I-95 Near Betsy Ross Bridge (Video) A tractor-trailer fire shuttered part of Interstate 95 in Philadelphia for hours, Pennsylvania State Police explained on Friday morning.  The tractor-trailer was already ablaze when it jackknifed on I-95 South at mile marker 25.6 in Philadelphia County near the Betsy Ross Bridge into New Jersey around 7:30 a.m. on June 28, state police detailed in the release.  The fire has been extinguished and Troop K Philadelphia Station was on the scene as of 9 a.m. The driver was able to escape.  Click the player below to see a Citizen video of the firefighters on the scene.
