A man used an accelerant on a vehicle on the 1600 block of Huddell Avenue shortly after 2 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 13, police said in a press statement. The man may have parked in the Linwood Heights Church parking lot and walked to the area where he allegedly set the fire, police said. Fatal Fire: Elderly Philadephia Woman Killed In House Fire, Police Say An unidentified woman in her 80s died in a house fire on Wednesday, Sept. 11, authorities said. At approximately 9:50 a.m., an Emergency-911 call was placed reporting a residential structure fire at 3500 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia police said. Responding units arrived on the scene to find the property engulfed in flames, police said. "An approximately 87-year-old female, identified as Jane Doe, was located inside the residence," police said in a press statement. On Friday, Aug. 23, at about 4:30 a.m., the Philadelphia Police and Fire Departments responded to a report of a fire, people trapped on the 1800 block of East Russell Street, in the Harrowgate section of Philadelphia. There were several homes damaged by the fire. A woman was found inside one of the properties and pronounced dead on the scene, police said. The woman's name and age had not been released. Coroner Names Woman Killed In Bethlehem Fire Officials have identified the Bethlehem woman who died in a house fire on Wednesday morning, May 22.  Ladell Christie, 56, was pronounced dead at the scene on the 900 block of Broadway, according to Northampton County Coroner's Office.  Her cause and manner of death are pending the results of the fire investigation, the Coroner's Office added.
