SPCA Rescues 124 Animals, Largest Farm Cruelty Case In Bucks County History The Bucks County SPCA rescued 124 farm animals neglected in horrendous conditions in Wrightstown, authorities announced late on Thursday, Aug. 8. The animals were at Narrow Way Farm at 887 Worthington Mill Road in Wrightstown Township, the SPCA said. 36 Animals Including Bull, Chickens Rescued From School Bus Trailer In PA, SPCA Says Thirty birds, four dogs, one bull, and one pony were removed from a school bus and trailer in Adams County over the weekend, according to the SPCA.  Eastern Adams Regional police called SPCA members to Hanover Street and Red Hill Road on Saturday night, the organization said in a release.  Police had discovered the animals in the bus and accompanying trailer after arresting the driver on out-of-state warrants, officials said. Maryland Man Arrested For Killing Dog In Chesco: PA State Police A 21-year-old from Maryland is charged with aggravated cruelty to animals, Pennsylvania State Police say.  Troopers said Damien Thiel of Westminster fatally assaulted a family dog in West Nottingham Township on Saturday, June 8. It happened on the 100 block of Pleasant Drive, according to investigators.  He posted 10 percent of his $15,000 bail and has a preliminary hearing set for June 18, court records show.
