Police Searching For Shooters After Home, Man Hit In Region Police in the Hudson Valley are searching for the person or people who fired multiple shots in a neighborhood, striking a man and an occupied home. The incident occurred in Dutchess County at around 12:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19, on N. Clinton St., in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to the Poughkeepsie Police, the department received multiple reports of shots fired and responded to the area.  On scene, officers located an occupied residence that had been struck by gunfire. 16-Year-Old Girl From Region Stabbed By Boyfriend, Police Say A 16-year-old girl is recovering after allegedly being stabbed by her boyfriend during a fight. The incident occurred in Dutchess County on Saturday, Aug. 17, at 31 Eliza St., in Beacon. According to Beacon Police Chief Thomas Figlia, officers found the teen bleeding when they responded to a call for a woman who had been stabbed. The girl was bleeding from what appeared to be a stab wound to her leg, Figlia said. She was transported to a hospital for treatment, police said. New York State Police have confirmed that the remains of a missing Hudson Valley woman are those found at the property of a new home construction site. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, the remains of Karen Angelillo Ramsey, age 25, were found in Putnam County in the town of Patterson on April 16 during excavation work at the property of a new home.
