A Brooklyn man confessed to murdering his wife of over 10 years inside her Schenectady home as their children slept nearby. Timothy Taylor, 38, pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in Schenectady County Court in the 2023 killing of 44-year-old Tishawn Folkes-Taylor, prosecutors announced Wednesday, July 16. A 45-year-old teacher from Amherst, NY (Erie County) has been arrested for sex crimes stemming from Virginia, authorities said. Geoffrey J. Testa was arrested on a warrant for multiple felony child exploitation charges out of Fairfax, VA on Friday, Jan. 31, the New York State Police said.
