New details are offering insight into the mind of an accused murderer just hours before he allegedly gunned down his ex-wife and her boyfriend inside their New York home. The Long Island killings happened in St. James, at a residence on Brasswood Road, at around 11:45 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28. Restaurant To Close After 21 Years Flooded With Business In Capital Region
A popular Capital Region Chinese bistro and bakery said they are slammed with orders after announcing the restaurant would close for good next week. Hong Kong Bakery & Bistro in Colonie announced in a Facebook post last week that the owners — Berry Lai and Shu Lam Chan — were retiring and would shutter the eatery on Monday, Aug. 26. Friends and strangers from across the region have come together and donated to help a family bury an 11-year-old girl hit and killed by a car. The incident occurred in Sullivan County around 8:50 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 4, on Route 52 in the Lava area of the town of Tusten. The girl, identified as Delana Weyandt of Lave by her big sister Sophia Weyandt, said the accident occurred as they were "walking, and we went to cross the road safely.
