Thomas Mascia, 27, of West Hempstead, surrendered to police Monday morning, Jan. 27, before being arraigned on a count of making a false report and related charges in Nassau County District Court. Man Accused Of Killing Guest At His East Quogue Home A house guest has been apprehended shortly after an overnight murder at a Long Island residence. Southampton Town Police responded to Oakville Avenue in East Quogue after a man called 911 to report a person was found dead in the rear yard of the residence at around 9:50 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28. The victim, Christopher Hahn, age 43, of Hampton Bays, was pronounced dead at the scene.
