Bill Banning Transgender Athletes Passed By Nassau County Lawmakers The Nassau County Legislature passed a bill that prevents transgender women from competing in women’s sports on Long Island. At a meeting on Monday, June 24, lawmakers voted 12-6 to pass the law.
