53-Year-Old Woman Killed In 2-Car Crash In Hudson Valley A 53-year-old Hudson Valley woman was killed in a two-car crash. The incident occurred in Rockland County at 9:30 a.m., Monday, Oct. 14, at the intersection of New Hempstead Road and Summit Park Road in Ramapo. According to Sgt. Shawn Bakker of the Ramapo Police, responding officers found a 2000 Ford Taurus and a 2007 Honda Accord had crashed. Bakker said that a 69-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, both residents of Spring Valley, occupied the Ford. Both were transported to Nyack Hospital by Spring Hill Ambulance.
