One burglary suspect is in custody but two others remain at large after a police pursuit from Bergen County ended in Rockland overnight. On Saturday, Nov. 2, at approximately 7:50 p.m., the Clarkstown Police Department assisted the Montvale Police Department during a pursuit of a vehicle linked to burglary suspects in its area. The pursuit ended in Nanuet in the vicinity of Lake Nanuet Road and Pittsford Way. An occupant of a BMW SUV was seriously injured during a crash in the Hudson Valley that also involved an alleged home burglary and a police pursuit. The incident began in Bergen County, around 8:40 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10, in Closter and ended in Rockland County, in Palisades, a few minutes later with a violent crash that rolled the vehicle and landed it back upright. A 30-year-old man has been charged with allegedly taking New York State Police on a pursuit on the Taconic Parkway in the Hudson Valley. The incident occurred in Dutchess County in Pleasant Valley around 9:30 p.m. on Friday, July 26. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, troopers conducted a traffic stop of a 2014 Ford Taurus northbound on the Taconic Parkway for violations of the vehicle and traffic law. A police pursuit in the region ended with a bicyclist dead in the Hudson River. The Rensselaer County incident happened in Troy, near 1st Avenue and 116th Street, on Monday evening, July 8. A 19-year-old Hudson Valley man is dead after being hit by an SUV while allegedly engaging police in a pursuit. Orange County resident Noe Dominguez, of New Hampton, a small hamlet in the town of Wawayanda, died around 7:20 p.m., Saturday, June 22, at the intersection of Route 6 and Dolson Avenue in Wawayanda.
