A Rockland County jury found Oscar Garcia-Garcia guilty in connection with the December 29, 2022, killing of 54-year-old Luis Pinduisaca-Villa, Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E. Large Stash of Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine Found In I-87 Traffic Stop In Hudson Valley: Police Two men transporting a large quantity of narcotics on Interstate 87 were busted during a traffic stop in Rockland County, authorities announced. The bust occurred on Friday, Feb. 28, when troopers stopped a 2019 Honda Pilot for a vehicle and traffic law violation in Ramapo, New York State Police announced on Saturday, March 1.  The driver, Robert Morales, 57, of Rensselaer, and his passenger, Irving Prado, 51, of the Bronx, were questioned at the scene when a K-9 officer alerted officers to possible drugs inside the vehicle, which led to a probable cause search, police said. Daniel Dworkin, a corrections officer sergeant, was arrested Thursday, Nov. 21, following an investigation sparked by a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, according to Rockland County District Attorney Thomas E.
