Iconic Ferris Wheel Reopens At Hudson Valley Mall With Special Event The Ferris wheel at Palisades Center in West Nyack is spinning again!  The state’s only indoor Ferris wheel has officially reopened this week, bringing back a beloved attraction for visitors of all ages. Rockland County Launches Free TOR Ferry Weekend Connection Bus Weekend travelers will now have the opportunity to take a TOR ferry connection bus beginning this weekend to explore different parts of the Hudson Valley and New York City, free of charge. Rockland County Executive Ed Day and the Department of Public Transportation said that the service will begin on Saturday, July 6, and run through Nov. 10. The bus service will provide connecting transit service for Metro-North Hudson Line customers who travel to Haverstraw via the Haverstraw-Ossining weekend ferry, enabling them to travel beyond the Ferry Landing via public transit, officials said.
