Police Asking Residents To Be 'Vigilant' After 3 Hudson Valley Home Burglaries Police in the Hudson Valley are asking residents to be vigilant and report any suspicious activity after three residential burglaries. The incidents occurred in Rockland County in the village of Montebello. The Ramapo Police Department reports it is investigating three recent residential burglaries in the Village of Montebello.  The department is asking for the public's assistance. Duo Charged With Hate Crimes After Attacking Hudson Valley UPS Driver Two men have been charged with alleged assault as a hate crime after attacking a UPS driver while using racial slurs and attempting to steal the keys to his vehicle. The incident occurred in Rockland County at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24, on Spook Rock Road in the village of Montebello. According to Ramapo Police Chief Daniel Hyman, the driver was struck by a water bottle thrown from outside the vehicle.
