Person Suffers Critical Injuries After Falling Through Roof In Hudson Valley A person suffered critical injuries after falling through the roof of a home in the region. The incident occurred in Dutchess County, in the Red Oaks Mill area of Arlington, at 12:50 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 11. According to Arlington Fire District Deputy Chief Adam Kangas, the unidentified victim was found to have sustained severe injuries and required transport to a Level One trauma center. Serious Hudson Valley Crash Leaves Rider In Critical Condition A person was hospitalized in critical condition following a serious crash in the Hudson Valley that caused an hours-long road closure.  The crash happened in Putnam County on Friday, Aug. 30 at around 5 p.m., when a motorcycle crashed on Route 22 near the intersection with Route 311, according to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police.  The motorcyclist was later taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, Hicks said.  Route 22 in the crash area was closed until around 8 p.m. on Friday as authorities investigated the incident.

NY Man ID'd As Tourist Found Dead In Greece An American tourist recently found dead in Greece has been identified as a Long Island horse trainer. Toby Sheets’ body was found on Sunday, June 16, on a rocky beach on the Greek island of Mathraki, according to CBS News New York. Sheets, 55, was a native of Arkansas and lived in the Nassau County village of Floral Park, where he worked as a horse trainer at Belmont Park. Man, Woman, 6-Year-Old Killed After Amtrak Train Crashes Into Pickup Truck In NY Three people, including a young child, were killed after their vehicle was struck by an Amtrak train in New York. The incident happened around 8 p.m. Friday, May 17 just north of Buffalo, in the Niagara County city of North Tonawanda. According to North Tonawanda Professional Firefighters Local 1333, the train was heading northbound at the time in the area of Felton Street and River Road.
