A teenager suffered severe injuries and a woman was also hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash at a Long Island intersection. It happened around 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, in Lindenhurst. According to Suffolk County Police, the 19-year-old, a resident of Copiague, was operating a mini-bike on South 1st Street when he drove into the intersection of Reade Avenue, striking a 2020 Nissan Murano. ID Released For Elmont 28-Year-Old Killed In 2-Vehicle Garden City Crash
The identity has been released of a person killed in a two-vehicle crash on a Long Island roadway. It happened on Saturday, June 29, at 3:50 p.m. in Garden City. A 28-year-old man operating a 2021 Kawasaki motorcycle was involved in a collision with a 2007 Lexus operated by a 66-year-old man on Old Country Road near Prescott Street. Teen Trapped Under Car Following Long Island Crash: Police
Police have reminded drivers not to use off-road motorcycles on public roadways after a teen crashed on Long Island, hitting one car and getting him stuck underneath another. The crash happened on Tuesday, June 11 in Hicksville, according to Nassau County Police. At about 4:30 p.m. that evening, a 15-year-old teen boy was driving an off-road motorcycle south on Jerusalem Avenue. As he neared Spindle Road, he hit a 2009 Honda. The identity has been released of the victim of a fatal two-vehicle Long Island crash. It happened around 3 p.m. Friday, June 7, in Old Brookville. A 45-year-old man operating a 2002 Suzuki motorcycle traveling westbound, was involved in the collision with a 65-year-old man operating a 2022 GMC pickup truck traveling eastbound on Northern Boulevard near Hickory Road.
