Fatal House Fire: 62-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Nesconset
A Long Island resident was killed in a house fire. The blaze broke out around 5:25 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, in Nesconset. First responders rushed to the scene at Highland Place after a 911 call. Thomas Walz, age 62, a resident of the home, was taken out of the house by responders. Walz was transported via ambulance to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
