Seen Her Or This Car? Alert Issued For Missing Long Island Woman
Have you seen her? A Long Island woman has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in locating her. Betty Falk, age 66, was last seen leaving her Hewlett home in her 2023 black Mercedes-Benz around 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 7. She is described as being vulnerable. Police say she's 5-foot-4, 110 pounds with long black hair. Her destination is unknown. Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to contact the Nassau County Missing Persons Squad at 516-573-7347 or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous. Video Shows Burglary Suspect Stealing Cash From Long Island Business
If you recognize this early-morning burglar, police want to hear from you. Surveillance cameras were rolling when a masked man broke into a Long Island business and stole money. The incident happened in Hewlett, at Geffen Gourmet on Mill Road, at around 5:15 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 14. Nassau County Police said a male suspect got inside by prying open a rear door. He then swiped an undisclosed amount of cash from a register and removed a small safe containing additional money.
