A Long Island deli was caught hosting illegal gambling and alcohol sales before police arrested an employee, Suffolk County Police announced on Monday, March 3.
Officers from the Seventh Precinct Investigative Unit raided MR Broadway Deli at 53 Broadway in Rocky Point on Saturday, March 1, after community complaints. Inside, they found customers using slot machine gambling devices and drinking alcohol—despite the deli not having a license for on-site booze sales, police said.
