Fatal Shooting: 15-Year-Old ID'd As Victim In Capital Region Police in the Capital Region have identified a 15-year-old boy who was shot and killed. The incident happened in Schenectady around 11:20 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, in the 1100 block of Congress Street. According to the Schenectady Police, officers found a large crowd running from the area when they arrived.  They located Dubar T. Knowles, of Schenectady, in the backyard of 1122 Congress St., suffering from a gunshot wound to his torso. Knowles later died from his injuries, police said. A 13-year-old girl from Schenectady was also shot and is currently recovering from surgery…

25-Year-Old Found Shot On Roadway In Region A 25-year-old man was found shot on a roadway in the region after police responded to multiple 911 calls. The incident occurred in Dutchess County around 10:30 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 3, in the area of Oakley Street and N. Clinton Street in the city of Poughkeepsie. According to Poughkeepsie Police, responding officers located the victim, who had sustained a gunshot wound to the arm.  Officers immediately applied a tourniquet, and the man was transported via EMS to an area hospital for treatment. Arrival officers discovered a woman with gunshot wounds to her leg and abdomen, lying on the ground in front of the establishment, Clarkstown Police said. The Saratoga County incident happened at around 11:30 a.m. Friday, June 14, in Malta at the Northway Estates mobile home park on Route 9.
