The blaze broke out in Dutchess County in the town of Clinton at 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, troopers responded to a residential house fire with the East Clinton Fire Department on Clinton Hollow Road in the town of Clinton. 21-Year-Old Jumps From New Tappan Zee Bridge This story has been updated. A 21-year-old man jumped midspan from the new Tappan Zee Bridge and was rescued from the water. The incident occurred on the Westchester/Rockland County border around 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 13. According to the Tarrytown Fire Department, the Marine 5 crew responded within minutes, equipped with rescue swimmers onboard. The crew quickly located the victim in the water, loaded the man into the boat, and brought them back to the Tarrytown Marina.  The department said they were cared for by EMS there before being transferred to Westchester Medical Center in…

Person Extricated After 2-Vehicle Crash In Region A man was seriously injured following a two-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The collision occurred in Sullivan County on Route 17 at 7:40 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 9, in the town of Liberty. According to Trooper Jennifer Alvarez of the New York State Police, a 2011 Cadillac traveling northwest near the ramp at Exit 110A pulled in front of a 1995 Ford on Route 55, causing the front of the Ford to hit the driver's side of the Cadillac. Driver Airlifted After Crashing Into School Bus In Region The driver of a minivan was airlifted following a crash with a full-size school bus in the region. The collision occurred in Sullivan County around 8:30 a.m., Monday, May 20, on Route 52 in Jeffersonville.
