The Greene County wreck happened just before 5 p.m. Saturday, July 20, on Route 23 in the town of Windham. Sheriff’s officials said a Buick SUV was heading eastbound on State Route 23 when it collided with a westbound Chevrolet pickup truck near the intersection of Cross Road. Two passengers in the Buick were pronounced dead at the scene, while a third Buick passenger died at Albany Medical Center.
