26-Year-Old Drowns In Lake In Region While Out With Family A 26-year-old Capital Region man was pulled from a lake over the weekend after he drowned while out with his family, authorities said.  Police in Rensselaer County were called to Poestenkill Gorge Park on Linden Avenue in Troy just after 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 1. A Troy man had gone into the water and not resurfaced.  Bystanders pulled him out, but it was too late. 8 Pounds Of Meth Seized In Traffic Stop In Region; Man Busted After Chase Police say a man from the region attempted to escape after they found eight pounds of methamphetamines during a traffic stop earlier this week, but he didn't make it very far.  Rensselaer County resident Terrence Ravenell, age 28, of Troy, was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 20, and charged with multiple felonies, Troy police said.  Police were called to an area on Lincoln Avenue to reports of suspicious activity on Tuesday night.
