Fire crews in Dutchess County battled a car fire after a vehicle crashed into a tree and became engulfed in flames, officials said. The incident happened in the town of Rhinebeck on Friday, Jan. 31, at around 12:30 a.m., when firefighters were dispatched to the area of Hilltop Road for a reported vehicle fire, according to the Rhinebeck Fire Department. A four-vehicle crash involving a school bus on Route 9 in the Hudson Valley sent 11 students and several drivers to the hospital. The incident occurred at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 14, at 4699 Post Road in Hyde Park. Double-Fatal House Fire: Mother, 1-Year-Old Daughter ID'd As Victims In Dutchess County
A mother and her 1-year-old daughter were killed in a large house fire in the region that left another child and a man were seriously injured. The blaze broke out in Dutchess County in the town of Clinton at 10:40 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13. According to New York State Police Trooper AJ Hicks, troopers responded to a residential house fire with the East Clinton Fire Department on Clinton Hollow Road in the town of Clinton.
