Car Rolls Over On Hudson Valley Road, Causes Temporary Closure One lane of a Hudson Valley road was temporarily closed after a car flipped, firefighters said. The crash happened in Putnam County on Friday, Oct. 18 just before 8 a.m., when a vehicle flipped at the intersection of Hill Street and Lakeside Road in Mahopac, according to the Mahopac Falls Volunteer Fire Department.  Arriving first responders evaluated the driver. However, they declined any medical attention.  One lane of traffic was closed for a short time while crews operated at the crash scene.  The cause of the crash was not released.

Drunk Driver Hits Motorist, Causes Them Severe Injuries In Hudson Valley, Police Say A 65-year-old man faces several felony charges after hitting a motorcyclist in the Hudson Valley while allegedly driving drunk, causing them severe injuries, police said. The incident happened in Putnam County on Wednesday, June 12 just after 5 p.m., when a downed motorcyclist was found with serious leg injuries after they were struck by a gray Cadillac SUV in a residential neighborhood off Hill Street in Mahopac, according to Carmel Police.
