Young Girl Killed After Car Crashes Into Tree On Long Island A young girl has died after suffering sever injuries in a single-vehicle Long Island crash. The crash happened at 3:35 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, in Bohemia. A 51-year-old man from Brentwood was driving a 2012 Infiniti G37 westbound on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) with his 6-year-old daughter, Amaia Rivera, in the backseat.  He lost control of the vehicle, hit the center median, crossed all westbound lanes, left the roadway, and collided with a tree, according to Suffolk County Police. 20-Year-Old Seriously Injured After Crashing Into Cars, Tree In Elmont A motorist was airlifted to the hospital after slamming into several cars and a tree on a Long Island roadway. The crash occurred at 4:30 pm on Thursday, Oct. 17, in Elmont. A 20-year-old driver of a 1999 red Honda struck two parked cars and a tree on Carnegie Avenue., causing the vehicle to overturn.  The man suffered multiple trauma injuries and was transported by Nassau County Helicopter 6 to a local area hospital where he is listed in stable condition.  Check back to Daily Voice for updates.

It happened on Friday, Oct. 4, at 9:40 p.m. in Merrick, according to Nassau County Police. A 41-year-old man operating a 2023 Ford pickup truck traveling westbound on Sunrise Highway (Route 27) was involved in a collision with a 14-year-old boy riding a bicycle northbound on Merrick Avenue.   The boy suffered serious injuries and was transported to a local area hospital for treatment. The crash happened around 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 in Glen Cove. A 2001 Mercedes-Benz ML 320 driven by a 64-year-old woman was traveling westbound on Brewster Street and making a left turn when it collided with a 2018 Honda motorcycle, Nassau County Police said.
