The attack happened at around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at Schenectady’s Jerry Burrell Park, near Schenectady and Hamilton streets. According to police, officers found the victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. They were taken to Albany Medical Center for treatment. 24-Year-Old Stabbed To Death, Second Victim Injured In Attack Near UAlbany Campus A 24-year-old man was killed and a second victim was injured in an early-morning stabbing attack in the region. Emergency crews in Albany were called at around 3:40 a.m. Monday, June 3, for a stabbing near Washington Avenue and Quail Street, one block from the University at Albany’s downtown campus.
