A Long Island man is accused in a stabbing attack near an Albany college that killed a 24-year-old man and injured a second victim. Fabian Martinez-Reyes, 20, of Port Jefferson, was arrested Wednesday, Feb. 26, by Albany Police and members of the US Marshals Task Force, the agency said. A fight ended with a knife being plunged into a victim’s chest in the Capital Region, police said. Saratoga County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a Malta residence on Sunset Gulch for a fight in progress shortly after midnight Wednesday, Feb. 19. A violent altercation at an Orange County auto parts store left one man dead from a gunshot and another injured from stab wounds, police said. The incident occurred on Monday, Jan. 6, at the AutoZone store at 536 Broadway in Newburgh. A 51-year-old is behind bars after being charged in connection with the stabbing death of another man in a popular park in the region.
