A New York State Police trooper who claimed he was shot on a roadway in the region has been sidelined amid doubts about his story. A Hudson Valley man has been taken into custody in connection with a shooting on a city street. The incident occurred in Rockland County on Saturday, Oct. 26, at 5:50 a.m. on South Main Street in Spring Valley. According to Det.
