Drunk Driver With Kid Hits School Bus In Region, Police Say
A drunk driver crashed into a school bus carrying students in Saratoga County, police said.
The collision happened in Saratoga Springs, at the intersection of Lake Avenue and the same access road, around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, according to the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office.
Julie Learned, 49, was driving eastbound on Lake Avenue and attempting to turn into the access road for the Saratoga Independent School when she struck a South Glens Falls Central School District bus that was stopped at the intersection, deputies said.
