Firefighter Injured In Blaze At Transfer Station In Hudson Valley
A fire involving heavy machinery broke out at the Orange County Transfer Station, prompting a second-alarm response and injuring a firefighter. Crews were dispatched around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 5, to the facility on Training Center Lane in Goshen, the Goshen Fire Department said. When crews arrived, county fire coordinators reported an active fire inside the building involving heavy equipment. Store Goes Up In Flames In Hudson Valley
A store in Orange County was the scene of an intense blaze that kept firefighters busy for hours. The fire began on Sunday night, Oct. 19 at around 11:10 p.m. at Budget Beverage in Middletown at 2 Dolson Ave., according to the Middletown Fire Department. Arriving fire crews soon sounded a second alarm and mutual aid was called to the scene, including the Slate Hill Fire Department. A house fire in Orange County left one person injured and brought a large mutual aid response, firefighters said. The blaze broke out on Bull Road in the village of Washingtonville on Tuesday, Sept. 2, just after 11 a.m., according to the Washingtonville Fire Department. Police officers arrived first and confirmed a fire at the residence. Crews reported flames on the first floor and in the attic, prompting a second alarm. 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘: A fierce fire blew through a $3 million Tenafly home Friday night. Everyone got out OK and no injuries were reported after the fire ignited on the first floor near the back of the Hudson Avenue home off County Road shortly before 8:30 p.m. June 14.
